Who Phase 1 is for

Performance Reset is built for capable professionals who are still functioning but feeling the cost. You are not in crisis. You are running on reserves that used to refill faster than they do now. This is the phase that stops the slide and rebuilds the baseline before it becomes something harder to recover from.

Clinicians and allied health

How it works

A structured eight weeks, not a content dump.

Enrol and set your baseline

Complete your enrolment and your Burnout Baseline before Week 1. You arrive knowing where you are starting from, not guessing.

Weekly live coaching

One 60-minute session per week with Werner and your cohort. Small enough that you are known by name. Sessions are recorded, so missing one does not cost you continuity.

Apply between sessions

Each week ends with one practical action and a tracking task. The dashboard builds a real picture of your recovery across the eight weeks.

Leave with your protocol

By Week 8 you have your Overload Map, Personal Recovery Protocol, and Boundary Starter Pack — and the option to move into Phase 2 to redesign how you work.

Burnout Baseline and Overload Map

Review your Burnout Baseline results as a group. Map the key drivers specific to you: demands, control, support, and values friction. You leave knowing exactly where your depletion is coming from, not guessing.

The recovery cycle — how depletion actually works

Sorensen’s Burnout Cycle as a working model. Identify where you currently sit in the cycle. Introduce the self-tracking dashboard and set your first weekly recovery target.

Sleep anchors and recovery rhythm

Build your sleep consistency foundation and downshift routine. Identify the two to three non-negotiable recovery practices that hold on a low-capacity week, not just a good one.

Micro-recovery and capacity management

Ultradian rhythm and planned recovery breaks. Build micro-recovery into your working day without requiring structural change. Review your first month of dashboard data: what the pattern is telling you.

Phase C — Cognitive load and mental overload

Rumination and the “switched-on” pattern

CBT-informed tools for the thoughts that keep you running even when you are offline. Identify your specific rumination triggers. Build the first cognitive defusion practices from the ACT toolkit.

Perfectionism, values, and the shutdown ritual

Address the perfectionism and values friction identified in your Overload Map. Build your end-of-day shutdown ritual and next-day top-three. Create the protected deep-work blocks that survive a hard week.

Boundary scripts and capacity-signalling language

Capacity-signalling language, trade-off phrasing, and meeting-decline scripts. The specific words for when “no” feels impossible. Practice one real conversation this week before the final session.

Every session is personally facilitated by Werner — Clinical Psychologist registered with AHPRA, with an MBA. Not a contractor, not a recorded video. The programme is what he wishes had existed when his own clients arrived already depleted: structured, evidence-informed, and built around the realities of senior professional life.
