Who this is for

You've tried resting. It didn't fix it.

The Intensive is designed for high-performing professionals who have already tried the obvious things — the holiday, the long weekend, the boundary-setting — and found themselves back in the same place within weeks. Rest recovers your energy. This programme recovers your relationship with work.

Clinicians and allied health professionals

Carrying others' load while running on empty. Compassion fatigue layered on top of structural burnout.

Leaders and senior managers

Responsible for everything, accountable to everyone. The job has expanded beyond what's sustainable.

Academics and educators

Chronic under-resourcing, high performance expectations, identity deeply tied to professional output.

Professionals in high-demand fields

Law, finance, consulting — environments where long hours and self-sacrifice are structural, not optional.

The journey

A structured recovery system — not just a course.

Each week combines a live group session with Werner, daily platform check-ins, and AI-supported practice between sessions. The learning doesn't stop when the Zoom call ends.

01
Before Week 1

Apply, enrol, and onboard

Complete your enrolment and receive your onboarding guide within 48 hours. Before Week 1 begins, you'll have a personal 15-minute call with Werner to map your specific burnout profile and set your recovery intention.

02
Weeks 1–8

Weekly live group sessions

One 90-minute session per week with Werner and your cohort. Small group — you'll know everyone by name within two weeks. Sessions are recorded; miss one without losing continuity. Specific time confirmed with applicants once Cohort 1 is full.

03
Every day

Daily check-ins and AI Coach

AM and PM prompts track your sleep, energy, and stress load. Your AI Coach adapts guidance based on your data and is available 24/7 between sessions for anything that comes up.

04
Week 8 and beyond

Sustain and grow

Build your Personal Operating Manual and 90-day sustainment plan. Platform access continues for 90 days post-programme so you can lock in lasting change before deciding on ongoing support.

The curriculum

8 weeks. Evidence-based. Outcome-focused.

Each session builds on the last. By Week 8 you have a complete toolkit and a personalised plan for sustaining what you've built.

Week 1 — 15 Jun

The Neuroscience of Burnout

Why your nervous system got here — and what it takes to recover. The biology behind chronic exhaustion, and how your specific pattern maps onto it.

Week 2 — 22 Jun

Trying Harder Is Making It Worse

The exhaustion trap keeping high performers stuck. Learn why your default coping strategies are deepening burnout, not resolving it.

Week 3 — 29 Jun

How to Stop the 3am Spiral

Breaking the rumination loop that steals your rest. Practical techniques for interrupting anxious thinking when it matters most.

Week 4 — 6 Jul

How to Reset Your Sleep

The science of nervous system recovery after burnout. Sleep window calibration, stimulus control, and wind-down protocols that work.

Week 5 — 13 Jul

Pivoting Towards Meaning in Work

Values-based recovery when everything feels pointless. Reconnect with what matters and use it to guide sustainable decisions.

Week 6 — 20 Jul

Effectively Managing Boundaries

Setting and maintaining boundaries without guilt. Scripts, frameworks, and communication strategies for real workplace situations.

Week 7 — 27 Jul

Sustainable Performance in the Long Run

Building lasting energy and performance after depletion. Capacity planning, early warning systems, and workload design.

Week 8 — 3 Aug

Your Personalised Relapse Prevention Plan

Your evidence-based long-term protection plan. Build your Personal Operating Manual and 90-day sustainment commitments.

Everything included

Not a course. A complete recovery system.

8 × live group sessions with Werner

90 minutes each. Small cohort of max 10. You'll know everyone by name within two weeks.

15-min personal onboarding call

Before Week 1. Werner maps your specific burnout profile and sets your recovery intention with you.

Full BurnoutOS platform access

All 8 modules, micro-practice library, sleep protocol, workplace templates, and progress tracking.

AI Coach — unlimited, always on

Built on Werner's clinical methodology and the ACT framework that anchors the live sessions. Ask it anything between sessions. Available 24/7 — the same psychological frame, just at 3am when you need it.

Personalised burnout profile

Built from the validated OLBI screening instrument, your intake, and your first two weeks of daily data. Werner reads the pattern and writes you a structured profile — what's depleted, what's working, where to focus. Not a clinical diagnosis. A clear psychological read from an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist.

Session recordings vault

Every session recorded and available within 24 hours. Miss one without losing continuity.

90-day post-programme access

Platform access continues after completion. Build the habit before deciding on ongoing support.

Structured progress tracking

Measuring what matters.

Daily check-ins build a real picture of your recovery across 8 weeks — sleep, energy, mood, and stress load. Your AI Coach adapts guidance based on your data. Werner reviews trends before each session.

Questions

The things people ask before enrolling

This is a structured psychoeducational programme, not individual therapy. Werner is an AHPRA-registered Clinical Psychologist facilitating a skills-based group — you're learning evidence-based tools in a peer context. If you need individual clinical support alongside the programme, Werner can discuss that separately.

Sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. We recommend attending live for the group dynamic and accountability, but life happens. Missing one session won't break the programme for you.

Maximum 10 participants. Cohort composition is curated for professional context compatibility — leaders, clinicians, and senior professionals. The small size is intentional: you'll hear others articulate exactly what you're experiencing, which is itself powerful.

Yes. South African applicants are welcome — ZAR 24,950 at checkout. Werner is registered with HPCSA. Session times are scheduled to work for both AEST and SAST cohort members. UK applicants are welcome too — get in touch for current GBP pricing.

Platform access continues for 90 days. A $47/month Maintenance membership is available for those who want ongoing AI Coach access, check-ins, and community. The tools and your Personal Operating Manual are yours permanently.

If you complete all 8 sessions and the weekly practices and feel the programme didn't deliver meaningful change, contact us within 7 days of completion for a full refund. We stand behind the work.

Cohort 1 begins 15 June 2026.
